Who we are

Grit Fit Fam provides wellness coaching in North York, Ontario and online. Questions about this notice or your information can be sent to reach@gritfitfam.com.

What we collect

We may collect your name, email address, mobile number, general wellness goals, reasons for seeking support, availability, service-format preference, readiness, referral source and the information you choose to provide in messages or conversations. We also receive basic website and campaign information, such as the page or advertisement that brought you to us.

Please do not submit a detailed medical history, diagnosis, payment-card number or other unnecessary sensitive information through the application form.

Why we use it

We use the information to respond to your request, prepare for and schedule your discovery call, recommend appropriate next steps, deliver services you choose, provide support, maintain business records, improve our customer experience and protect the security of our systems.

If you separately choose marketing updates, we may also send practical wellness content, programme information, event notices and related emails or text messages. Marketing consent is optional and can be withdrawn at any time.

When we share information

We may use service providers for website hosting, forms, scheduling, communications, analytics, customer management and payment processing. We give providers only the information reasonably needed to perform those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect people, rights or systems. We do not sell personal information.

Consent and choices

You can decline optional marketing without affecting your application or discovery call. Commercial messages will identify Grit Fit Fam and provide an unsubscribe method. You can also ask us to stop marketing by emailing reach@gritfitfam.com. Service messages needed to respond to an active request or deliver a programme may continue where appropriate.

Cookies and website measurement

We use the Meta Pixel to measure page visits, application starts, successful applications and clicks to our booking service. A Lead event is sent only after your application is successfully received. Meta may receive browser and device information, IP address, page URL, cookie identifiers and these events, and may associate them with your Meta account under its privacy policy. We do not send your application answers, name, email or phone number, including hashed contact details, in our tracking events. Automatic form collection and advanced matching are disabled in our Pixel code.

When you complete a booking in our embedded Calendly calendar, we also send a booking-completed event with an opaque booking identifier to prevent duplicate counting. We do not include the appointment time or your Calendly answers in that event.

You can manage cookies and tracking through your browser settings. Website measurement is separate from consent to service communications or marketing emails.

Retention and protection

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, to meet legal or accounting requirements, or to resolve a concern. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Access, correction and deletion

You may ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, or request deletion subject to legal and operational requirements. Email reach@gritfitfam.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Updates

We may revise this notice as our services and systems change. The current version and effective date will appear on this page. This interim notice should be reviewed by qualified Canadian counsel before paid traffic or large-scale marketing begins.
